"WHERE YOUR PET'S MEMORIES STAY ALIVE" |

IN MEMORY OF
MY EVERLASTING BELOVED BUDDY Beloved Buddies, Inc. was formed in the memory of my Beloved
Buddy, Brando, who is my "Guiding Light" in helping me create this
website to support and guide others who have lost their dearly
Beloved Buddy.
Brando came into my life at 8 weeks old who was a very handsome, heavily spotted Dalmatian. As a single, career working woman, my family warned me how difficult it would be to take care of a puppy, let alone a Dalmatian (who unfortunately do not have the greatest reputation). Needless to say, my family was right -- I had my hands full. As a puppy, Brando was a terror. I vowed never to give up, got a personal trainer and did I learn about training a dog. Brando, however, did turn into a rather distinguished gentledog. When the two of us made the big move from New York to Florida, Brando adapted very well, especially to the swimming pool. The first few times he went into the swimming pool, he was terrified. About two weeks later, we could not keep him out of the pool. It got to the point where it became “Brando’s pool”. I could just sit outside with him for hours, throw his ball to him, he would swim for it and bring it back to me. After finally calling it a day, we would nestle up together and there are absolutely no words to describe that feeling unless you are a passionate animal lover. |
Unfortunately, at the age of 10 ½ years old,
Brando left me to go to Rainbow Bridge. He passed away so suddenly
of an enlarged heart. He did not even give me time to get the
results back from his tests. I now know that the last look he gave
to me was the look that told me, Mom, I have to go now but I do
know that you are going to be okay. I never cried as
hard as I did that dreadful rainy evening and a long time
after. Beloved Buddies is here to help you through
your grief and pain. Whether it is by you writing a story and
submitting it to our Beloved Memories page, calling us to attend
our support group meetings, or picking up the telephone or sending
an email to tell us about a funny or memorable story about your
Beloved Buddy. Please accept our deepest sympathy on the
passing of your Beloved Buddy. |
